Tornado Relief For St Louis

Updated: 13 hours ago

Know Your Rights Camp has deployed over $30,000 in rapid relief funds and resources to organizations helping those most impacted in St. Louis. In the wake of the devastating tornado that struck St. Louis one week ago, we’re standing in solidarity with organizations we’ve built relationships with while power building during our March 2025 Know Your Rights Camp in STL. Founded by Colin Kaepernick and his wife Nessa, Know Your Rights Camp is rooted in a vision of empowerment, justice, and community care—and in this moment of crisis, that vision continues in action.

These Black-led organizations have become more than just partners—they are part of an emerging ecosystem of frontline leaders and healers, each doing transformative work in their communities. Together, we are responding to both the immediate devastation and the longer journey toward recovery.

Although the tornado has passed, the storm isn’t over for so many families. Families are starting over—rebuilding from the ground up, with basic needs like food, shelter, and safety now their daily focus.

Whether you’re able to give resources, time, or amplify the work, we’re all grateful for any support. #WeGotUs
